The Esk Valley Community Railway Partnership is supported by enthusiastic Station Adoption Groups at every one of the 17 stations along the line. Each Group brings local people together, creating pride in their station and community.
They play a critical role in making their stations welcoming, pleasant and attractive places. Often their work extends beyond basic upkeep, incorporating community gardening and food growing, local arts projects, and workshops and visits with children and young people.
They also encourage their friends and neighbours to use the train more often and campaign for improved services.
If you would like to join one of the groups along the line, please get in touch. The more the merrier!
