Our new early morning train from Whitby starts at 07.24 Monday 15th December!
This new service will run Monday to Saturday from Whitby along the Esk Valley Line to James Cook, Middlesbrough and on to Hartlepool, Sunderland and Newcastle. The new timetable can be found on our Timetable page.
Esk Valley CRP has been campaigning for many years for a commuter train but at the right time. It began first in 2019 but Covid ended it. Now back at a more reasonable time enabling some better connections.
‘Supporting this service is the only way to secure its future’ says General Manager Lisa Williams. ‘We have fought long and hard to achieve this and hope that people will agree that it is at a much-improved time of day’.
